People are always asking where Carpi (not to be confused with CaPRI) is located. Above is a map of Italy where I have marked both Carpi and Milan. Milan (MXP) is where I will be flying into. From there we will take a bus to Carpi and be picked up from the bus station by our host families.
Quick facts:
-Carpi has been around since the 6th century.
-Known for its Lambrusco wine
-Under the Pio family rule from 1352 until the 15th century
-Carpi is known for its wonderful textiles. Designers come from all around to get the best fabrics (my mom works for her family's textile factory)
-Carpi has its own castle! See below
